You simply click the blue button in the top right corner of the page and type in the email addresses of the people you would like to share the document with.
NOTE Only Gmail users have access to Google Docs; if you try to share a document with other accounts such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or AOL, they will not be able to edit or be an owner of it.
In the top right corner of the page, you will see a blue button that says "SHARE"
and when you click on it, a box will pop up asking you to fill in the email addresses you want to share the document with.
Once your document has been approved for sharing by the people you are sharing with, you will all be able to edit the document together. There will be different colored cursors with the person's Gmail username in the same color as their cursor. As they type you will be able to see what they are writing as they write it.
When you are finished with your document, you can save it, email it, and even publish it to the web.
